The Soroptimist Mentoring Program is employment-oriented,and the purpose is to assist immigrant women in improving their opportunities in the Norwegian labor market. The target group is women with higher education (min. Bachelor degree) and good Norwegian language skills that are motivated to seek relevant employment or develop their careers.  The mentors are soroptimists with a varied experience from the Norwegian working life. 

The program consists of regular mentoring where the mentors coach the mentees on defining their goals and functions as a conversation partner. The program can also consist of workshops with lectures or discussions about different subjects related to Norwegian working life. This allows the participants to get to know each other and broaden their network.
